Yes the relationships I have built here are important. I am in the process of letting everyone I know and have built friendships with how to keep in contact with me on various platforms, etc.

I am not abandoning anyone. I would never think of asking or expecting anyone to stay in a place where they do not feel comfortable being their true selves. To hold back their creative abilities to stay where those abilities are no longer wanted. To be afraid that a picture of them simply kissing the one they love could be flagged.
I have had friends leave tumblr long before this debacle. And those friendships have held fast in other places while I stayed here.
True connections stay, no matter where.
I am leaving because I will no longer be able to freely express myself. NOT BECAUSE I DO NOT CARE.
@howcanibesowet I for one will miss you. Though we haven’t spoken, I have been following you from various blogs for a few years, and I have always loved what you post. That said, I fully understand and support your decision to move elsewhere. I wish you all the best, and hope you are completely comfortable and accepted in your new home, wherever that ends up being.
